Seychelles Helicopter Tour of Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue Islands
Experience the Seychelles Helicopter Tour and discover the country’s three main islands — Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue — from the air.
Mahé Island is the largest and main island of Seychelles, home to nearly 90% of the population. Serving as the gateway to the country, it is where the international airport is located. Most visitors spend several nights here before exploring neighboring islands through island-hopping. The island offers a wealth of luxurious accommodations and fine dining restaurants.
Mahé is blessed with alluring white sandy beaches and a variety of water activities. Its high mountain peaks and national parks make it ideal for scenic hiking trails and breathtaking viewpoints. The island’s Botanical Garden and marine parks appeal to travelers interested in discovering endemic plants and diverse marine life.
Praslin Island is the second-largest island in Seychelles and a major draw for visitors. It is home to many pristine white sandy beaches, including the famous Anse Lazio. Praslin is renowned for the UNESCO World Heritage Site Vallée de Mai. The island can be reached by a one-hour fast ferry ride or a 15-minute flight from Mahé.
Praslin is surrounded by smaller islands such as La Digue, Curieuse, Cousin, Cousine, Chauve Souris, St Pierre, and Aride. Boat excursions to these islands are easily arranged from Praslin. Anse Volbert serves as the island’s main tourism hub, offering hotels, restaurants, shops, and bars.
La Digue Island is the third most populated island and the fourth largest by land area. It is often considered the most beautiful island in Seychelles, with a charming, traditional way of life that locals have preserved. La Digue is accessible by fast ferry from Mahé and Praslin. There is also a helicopter service, though the island has no domestic airport.
One of the world’s most photographed beaches, Anse Source d’Argent, is located here, famous for its striking granite boulders. La Digue is also surrounded by neighboring islands such as Félicité, Grande Soeur, Petite Soeur, St Pierre, and Curieuse, which can be explored via boat excursions.
During your 90-minute luxury sky tour, you will enjoy breathtaking aerial views of these three islands and their surrounding islets.
